Black Bear Haven is the perfect, secluded vacation destination for a small family or a couples’ getaway. This cabin, less than 2 years old, has two bedrooms, two baths, a beautiful stone gas fireplace, and satellite TV. Leather furniture graces the living room, and the view shines in from the ClearStory windows above. You’ll love your stay at Black Bear Haven where you will be surrounded by the beauty of nature and the comforts of home. The beds feature down and foam pillows and down comforters. The fully equipped kitchen beckons to you to bake, grill, boil and steam to your heart’s content. Speaking of boiling, you won’t pass up the hot tub where you can relax under the stars listening to the wind rustle through the trees as the birds serenade you.
Beautiful views of the Great Smoky Mountains and the privacy of a lush forest will thrill you and provide plenty of adventure for you. Enjoy roasting marshmallows and hot dogs over the fire pit with the picnic table conveniently being steps away.
For outdoor activities, you are midway between the best whitewater rafting in the east on the Nantahala River, the beauty of the Appalachian Trail and the most visited National Park in the country, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Bryson City, Dillsboro, and Cherokee all have adorable shops and antique stores for you to peruse, produce stands nearby sell jams and fresh produce, Pigeon Forge shopping and amusement parks are just a drive over the mountain, and there’s even SCUBA diving in Lake Fontana.
Black Bear Haven is NOT pet friendly, sleeps 4 and is available year round.
