Fontana View Retreat is welcome addition to our collection of vacation rentals that has both a mountain and lake view! Fontana Lake is just down the road and the Smoky Mountains soar over the lake in the view from the front deck. In addition, the rear deck has another gorgeous view of the mountains stacking up in the distance. Fontana View Retreat has a great gourmet kitchen with lots of counter space and an eating area with a wet bar for your dining gatherings. In addition there is a table on the rear deck with that great mountain view. The two living rooms make it perfect for larger families or a two, three or four couples traveling together. Plus, there is a downstairs game room with a pool table for yet another area to gather. One of the living rooms has a jumbo TV and surround sound stereo for your entertainment and the other has a fireplace to add to your mountain vacation. Of course there is a hot tub outside to add for your relaxation after your days exploring the great North Carolina mountains.

Upstairs, you can relax in the 4 bedrooms that feature a king, two queen and one full size bed. In the master suite, there is a 42” Widescreen Plasma TV and a private upper deck with the lake and mountain view. Fontana View Retreat is easily reached by paved roads just eight miles from Fontana Dam and the famous Tail of the Dragon, making it an excellent place for visiting sports car enthusiasts and motorcyclists that enjoy our fabulous mountain roads. There is plenty of parking and turn around areas at the cabin. For outdoor activities, you are near the best whitewater rafting in the east on the Nantahala River, the beauty of the Appalachian Trail and the most visited National Park in the country, the Great Smoky Mountains NP.
