This log cabin is a great vacation hide away. Kennison’s Retreat is beautifully decorated and furnished in a rustic decor loaded with modern conveniences such as a gas stone fire place, direct TV service and flat screen HD-TV’s with DVD player. The master bath has a jetted tub with shower and a tub with shower in guest bath for the kids. The outside deck has a gas barbecue grill with table and chair set and a six person hot tub next to the master. This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom log cabin sleeps up to 8 people comfortably with 1 king size, 2 queen size and 2 twin size beds all with pillow top mattresses. This cabin also comes with all the amenities of a home including utensils, cookware, brand new appliances, linens and towels. Downstairs you’ll find a game room with a pool table that can also convert to a ping-pong table. There is also a separate den with game table and TV so the kids can have their own space. Just outside the den, is the firepit for your evening marshmallow roasts. This cabin not only has incredible views of the Balsam Mountains from its large covered deck but also gives you access to all the stars at night.

Kennison’s Retreat is well located and close to many outdoor adventures such as hiking white water rafting, fishing, horseback riding, gem mining, golfing and so much more all within a short distance. The Great Smoky Mountain National Park is 20 miles away with the famous Biltmore in Asheville only 40 miles. Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Dollywood are 65 miles away in neighboring Tennessee. Skiing is only 20 miles away in Maggie Valley with Ghost Town next door during the warmer months. Restaurants and all the big stores are within 10 miles of the cabin. Whether you want to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the Smoky Mountains with the family or a romantic solitude get away for two, this cabin will make your vacation a perfect and memorable time that will last a lifetime.
