Kick back on the leather sofas and enjoy mountain views and golden log interior in the Living Room. Glowing logs or the TV – you decide which to watch.
If everyone wants to watch something different, there’s a second TV in the Sitting Room upstairs, and a TV in the master bedroom on the Main floor.
Start your own pool tournament in the Game Room downstairs – it’ll be a night to remember!

The main floor master bedroom has everything you need to pamper yourself: a queen bed to stretch out in, amazing mountain views, a TV and a gas fireplace. Best of all, there’s a roomy jetted tub in the private bath.

Upstairs, the Second Bedroom has a Queen bed and a large window to let in the mountains. The Third Bedroom has two Twins, which can be converted into a King at your request. The sitting room and a full bath are also upstairs.

The lower level has not only the game room, also the Fourth bedroom. The Fourth Bedroom has a mountain view, and two full beds.
Also on the lower level there is a second covered porch with the hot tub and the Laundry Room with a full washer and dryer.

Centrally located, Smoky Mountain Getaway is convenient to all the great activities this side of the Smokies, from the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad in Bryson City, to the Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts in Franklin.
Feeling adventurous? Rafting on the Tuckaseegee River, gem mining in Franklin and Cherokee, hiking, and waterfalls are all nearby.
In the mood for something more mellow? A night at the cinema is moments away at The Quin Theater in Sylva.
Gambling, concerts, and Paula Deen’s Kitchen make Harrah’s Casino a favorite spot too.
For sporting events and plays, Smoky Mountain Getaway is convenient to Western Carolina University.

We rented this home to have a family celebration for Nana's 90th birthday. Home was beautiful -- and master suite on main floor was perfect for Mom. She didn't have to do any climbing and certainly enjoyed the great view from the rocking chair on the porch. Family enjoyed the hot tub, ability to go hiking, etc. Kitchen was great -- and the dining table was perfect for a large family meal. (We were surprised to find to leaves for the table in a closet.) While sitting right on top of a ridge with a great view, we were only about 7 miles from shopping for groceries, etc. If you did want to eat out, Dillsboro is just about 5 miles away and has a historical inn/restaurant and another restaurant across the street - both have good food and are reasonably priced -- and the Smokey Mtn RR stops in this village w/lots of shops. Would I return -- we all said "yes". Oh, we all made it through the week without computer access!! The house, view, and hot tub were enough entertainment!

The view from the mountain-top is gorgeous! The vista changes throughout the day as you sit on the spectacular porch. The three-story home and its furnishings were exceedingly accommodating and the service from the rental agency was outstanding. The only glitch was the road going to the house. It's a one lane road even though there are places to veer off if another car approaches. It was somewhat of a challenge for us "city folk." The whole experience would be an ideal place for a retreat, a quiet vacation, or a family get-together. Private and good for the soul! There is not any Internet access, but the Internet Cafe a short distance way in Dillsboro was a fun place to get connected. Bring your own lap-top-no cost to log on. Nick and Nate's Pub in Sylva and Waynesville is recommended for eating. Shop at the little handmade crafts in Dillsboro, too. All in all it was well worth the trip. Highly recommended .

We booked this mountain retreat for a post-wedding relaxation time, and it was all that and more. The property is on a ridge with a killer view over the valley below and mountains in the distance. We spent hours on the porch rocking in the rockers, drinking a little wine, and reliving the wedding. The house is great, with plenty of room for our 8 people. The two little towns of Sylva and Dillsboro were quaint and fun. We suggest Lulu's for lunch or dinner in Sylva, and great little restaurant. We plan to return to this mountain hideaway again to enjoy total relaxation.
