  • What is the minimum age to rent a cabin?

    The minimum age to rent a cabin with Great Smokys Cabin Rentals is 25 years old. The primary guest must be at least 25 and present at check-in, remaining on the property for the entire stay. We require this policy to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests and to maintain the quality of our Smoky Mountain cabin rentals.

  • Do I need 4WD to access the cabins?

    Not all of our cabins require a 4WD to access. Many of our cabins offer easy access with well-maintained roads that are suitable for standard vehicles. Additionally, some of our cabins are motorcycle accessible for those looking to explore the area on two wheels. If you're unsure about the specific cabin you're interested in, feel free to reach out, and we can provide detailed information about road conditions and accessibility!

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    Our cancellation policy is firm to ensure availability for all guests. Here’s how it works: 30 Days or More Before Arrival – If you cancel at least 30 days prior to your arrival date, you qualify for a full refund, minus a $75 cancellation fee. Within 30 Days of Arrival – If you cancel within 30 days of your scheduled arrival, you do not qualify for a refund. Moving Your Reservation – If you need to change your dates, we may apply a $25 date-change fee. We understand that life happens, so if you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact our team as soon as possible to discuss your options. Booking direct ensures you get the most accurate cancellation terms and personalized assistance.

  • Do you offer any discounts?

    Yes! At Great Smokys Cabin Rentals, we proudly offer special discounts to make your Smoky Mountain getaway even more affordable. We currently provide: Return Guest Discount – Book with us again and enjoy exclusive savings as our way of saying thank you for choosing us! Military & First Responder Discount – We appreciate your service! Active duty, veterans, and first responders receive a special discount on any cabin rental. To take advantage of these offers, simply mention your eligibility when booking online or call our reservation team at 828-488-4630. Some restrictions may apply, and discounts cannot be combined with other specials.

  • What time is check-in/out? Do you offer early and/or late check-in/out?

    Our standard check-in time is 4:00 PM and check-out time is 10:00 AM for all cabins. This schedule ensures our cleaning team has enough time to prepare your cabin to the highest standards for your stay. Yes, we do offer early check-in and late check-out on a case-by-case basis, depending on cabin availability. If you would like to request this option, please contact our office at 828-488-4630 prior to your arrival. Additional fees may apply. Booking direct gives you the best chance to request flexible check-in and check-out times.

  • I will be working during my stay, what is the wifi speed?

    Wi-Fi speed varies depending on the cabin you book. Most of our Smoky Mountain cabins have DSL internet, which is suitable for general browsing, email, and streaming on one or two devices. Some cabins offer Starlink internet, providing faster speeds for guests who need more reliable connectivity for work or multiple devices. Please note that due to our mountain location, internet service may not be as fast as in urban areas and can occasionally be affected by weather conditions. If you require high-speed internet, contact us before booking, and we’ll help you choose the best cabin for your needs.

  • What is stocked in the cabin?

    At Great Smokys Cabin Rentals, we provide a full set of towels, linens, and starter supplies to make your stay comfortable and convenient. Each guest receives: Bath towels & washcloths – One luxury bath towel and washcloth per guest Spa towels – Provided if your cabin has a hot tub Hand towels – Two per bathroom Bath mats – One per bathroom Kitchen linens – Towels and pot holders Starter supplies – Toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry detergent, dish soap with kitchen sponge, dishwasher pods Toiletries – Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap per bathroom Coffee – Local coffee from Honey Bear’s Bakery Firewood – Starter bundle for your fireplace or fire pit These starter supplies are designed to last one to two nights, giving you everything you need for a smooth arrival.
