Welcome to Moonshine Creek Too, a private, dog-friendly waterfront apartment located on the lower level of Alarka Creek Oasis. Perched directly above beautiful Alarka Creek, this peaceful retreat offers gorgeous water views through the bedroom’s large windows and from your own private deck.
Although the apartment is located beneath the main home, it is not a shared living space. You’ll have a separate parking area, private keypad entrance, private deck, and the entire waterfront level to enjoy during your stay.

The Space
Wake up to the sight and sound of Alarka Creek flowing just outside your bedroom. Inside, you’ll find a comfortable bedroom, full bathroom, inviting living area, kitchen/wet bar, and a queen sleeper sofa that provides additional sleeping space for children or extra guests.
Step outside and experience what makes Moonshine Creek Too truly special. The private covered deck features rocking chairs and a bistro table where you can enjoy coffee, meals, or a quiet evening overlooking the water.

Guest Access and Privacy
Moonshine Creek Too occupies the lower level of the main house, but the apartment is completely private and self-contained.
Guests have exclusive access to:

• A private waterfront deck
• The fire pit, grill, and designated riverside amenities

There are no shared indoor spaces. You may come and go at your convenience and enjoy the waterfront level as your own private retreat.

Fishing and Outdoor Adventures
Alarka Creek is stocked by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission with brook, brown, and rainbow trout, making this a wonderful destination for fishing enthusiasts. Please review current licensing requirements, regulations, and seasonal restrictions before fishing. Stocked-water fishing is closed during March.
Beyond the property, you’ll be within easy reach of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Fontana Lake, scenic waterfalls, hiking trails, tubing areas, and the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. Harrah’s Cherokee Casino is also nearby, offering another option for dining and entertainment.
Families visiting for the Polar Express or another Great Smoky Mountains Railroad excursion will appreciate the additional sleeping space provided by the queen sleeper sofa.

The property is equipped with generator backup, offering additional peace of mind if the mountain weather interrupts local electrical service.

We recommend stopping for groceries before traveling to the property. Ingles, Bryson City’s primary grocery store, generally closes at 10 p.m., although winter hours may vary.
