We stayed in "Changes in altitude" such a Beautiful Cabin way up in the mountains, my little Prius made it just fine! We had 9 people in total there was plenty of room and the cabin was super clean and had everything you need for cooking and baking. We stayed for a week ...... The cabin was secluded high up on the mountain it can take about 15 minutes to travel down, but once you're down the mountain everything is within a 10 minute drive .... The Grocery Store, Bryson City Deep Creek etc. We and we all enjoyed the Jacuzzi.... Corn Hole and fire pit. This is our second time renting a cabin and I so look forward to renting another in the fall.... You guys are a Class Act and should be very proud.... Thank You for the Memories!

With over 20 years experience renting properties for our family vacations we can honestly say Changes in Altitude is the best home we have ever rented!! This home had everything for a perfect family getaway. The cabin was well equipped (right down to a couple of s'mores sticks for use at the fire pit). The dining area was ideal for our family to gather for a meal or a rousing card game. Best part about Changes in Altitude were the amazing views. Watching the moon rise over the mountains from the back deck was a definite highlight! My adult children begged me to pass on how much they enjoyed this wonderful property!
Great Smoky Cabin Rentals provided a great experience for our family. Their communication and directions to our rental property arrived right on schedule and were spot on for making our stay anxiety-free. We will definitely consider using your services again thanks to a wonderful, easy experience with this rental.

Changes in Altitude brought our family a Change in Attitude! So peaceful and looking out over the tree tops reminded us of God's grace and His creation of beauty. Our family loved the porch, and breezy afternoons and evenings. A corn hole tournament before grilling burgers then s'mores by the fire pit created lasting memories for our grand kids!! We hate to leave this little piece of mountain heaven but our hearts yearn for home.

The cabin more than met our expectations. Sometimes pictures can be framed to look better than what it actually is. In this case it was the opposite - it was more than we expected. Beautiful view, peaceful and quiet. Beautiful cabin that was well stocked and furnished. We made great mountain memories. We also appreciated the personal call just before we arrived and emails before and afterward. If our family would decide to return to the area we would certainly see if this place were available again.

What a great place to celebrate a third birthday with grandparents and family. There were rooms available for each family and the whole cabin was so well stocked with dishes and kitchenware. We loved the drive up here. The large porch gave plenty of room for little ones to run and play. We would love to come back again!

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin! We visited Deep and the Hot Tub our first day. We zip lined and enjoyed the fire pit the next and rode the train and whitewater rafted on the our third! Thank you for the wonderful experience! We made great memories while staying here!

This place has the most amazing views! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything from pots and pans to service for over 12 people; It even had a waffle maker! One of the first things I noticed was the smell of fresh wood. This place cannot be more than a couple of years old. There were blankets, DVDs, a giant Jenga game, and a Razr scooter that took us back to our younger years. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the whole place was tastefully decorated. I could go on and on about all the amenities. Make sure you pick up groceries on your way there, as the nearest supermarket is over 20 miles away, and you don't want to be driving up/down the mountain after dark. Words cannot describe how happy we were to have chosen this cabin. We will definitely be coming back in the near future.

Great Smokeys Changes in Altitude cabin was a great getaway house! If these pictures dont show you enough there is a YouTube video of the home that shows all the bedrooms too. We went with a group of friends to celebrate a couple of birthdays and didnt leave the cabin the whole time. Great games, spectacular views, hot tube, fire pit, great football watching game room and more. Fully equipped kitchen, plus a flat top grill and a regular grill. Wish we stayed a day longer. Would definitely recommend to any and everyone.
