Bear's Den

We came for the weekend to ride the Polar Express with our four kids and this cabin was perfect for us. It was very spacious and clean and had everything we could ever need for cooking and meals. The hot tub was also a nice bonus feature. We will try and stay here again next year!

This place was awesome! The kitchen had plenty of stuff to cook and there was a lot of room. The couch seemed brand new and it was super comfortable. The view was fantastic from the porch! The hot tub was clean and worked amazingly! It was isolated enough to feel like our own slice of the mountains, but also was pretty short trip to downtown to visit trails, get groceries, and get some souvenirs. There was also guestbook link they send so you can have some suggestions of food, stores, and healthcare, including for pets. Our dogs had a blast. They loved the place and enjoyed the nature around the cabin, including the small yard in the back. The only 2 things that we wished were different was that the beds were very stiff which made it difficult to fall asleep and the hot tub is in the backyard. Both are not huge deals, just our opinions, but I honestly would stay there again in a heartbeat. Great price for such a wonderful cabin!

This little cabin was perfect for our family trip. The downstairs master bedroom and bath were great for my elderly mother. The upstairs part had plenty of room for the rest of my family. It is in a out in the woods type of location without being too far from town.

This cabin was perfectly located and within 15-20 minutes of downtown Bryson City. It was spacious and clean, and had plenty of space for my family of four, and our friends who were another family of four. The loft upstairs gave a perfect area for the kids to hang out, play games, color, and just have fun. It also had an amazing porch that wrapped from the front to the back, which was perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening drinks. We only used the upper fire pit which was perfect for the kids to roast marshmallows. The hot tub was also great and faced the beautiful Mountain Views. The communication from property management was great and very detailed. My family will definitely return here on our next NC trip.

We had a wonderful time during the snow. We plan to watch the weather predictions for snow and make it an annual trip. The area is absolutely beautiful, even more so in the snow!!

We had a great time at the Bears Den during the snow. We watched the weather predictions and booked at the last minute. We received about 4 inches, which was the perfect amount to be pretty and safe. The cabin was so cozy with the fireplace. We loved watching the snow fall through the glass A-frame in comfortable seating from the large open space of the great room. Kitchen was well equipped. The rocking chairs were nice on the deck for enjoying the fresh air. Beds were comfortable for a restful sleep in a very quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space and woods between residences. It was truly a beautiful winter wonderland!

we enjoyed this perfect home away from home! We did so many out door activity's and adventures! we enjoyed the space so much, grilling out enjoying the surrounding area!

It was an absolute great experience! The fireplace and the scenery were just total relaxation. We will be back!

We had an unfortunate bad experience with another Cabin Rental Company and were fortunate to find Great Smokys Cabin Rentals. This cabin is beautiful, clean, had great decor and comfortable beds. The view were amazing! We will be back!
