A flat-screen TV awaits your viewing pleasure. You will fall in love with The Great Escape charm from the moment you step inside.
The open-concept layout ensures that the kitchen is just steps from anywhere on the main floor. Your kitchen sink is situated directly in front of a window, so you are always able to look outside and commune with nature. Anything you need is within your reach here at The Great Escape. This kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need to create delicious meals, or simply lay out a display of yummy take-out from local eateries.
The outdoor spaces here at The Great Escape are almost endless. There is a lovely wraparound deck is equipped with a bubbling hot tub (bring your morning coffee or your evening wine), rocking chairs to soothe your day away, and views of the Smoky Mountains. Please be aware that road conditions in the Smoky Mountains can be unpredictable and may change rapidly due to weather. Our cabin’s roads & driveways are either pavement or gravel or both. Depending on the season, you may experience road conditions such as heavy rain washouts, snow, sleet, roads covered in leaves, etc. We highly recommend using a 4WD vehicle to ensure safe travel to your cabin, especially during winter months or inclement weather.
Please Note:
NO REFUNDS will be issued if you are unable to reach your cabin due to road conditions.
We advise checking weather and road conditions prior to your trip to ensure a safe and pleasant journey.

Two couples stayed at Great Escape for a week. The location is perfect- close to everything we wanted to do in the area. The kitchen was well appointed, there were lots of good quality towels, the porch and the hot tub were amazing, and the beds were really comfy.

We had a great stay at the Great Escape cabin. It is exactly as described and was spacious for our 3 person family. We spent most of our time at the cabin on the wrap around deck enjoying the view of the Smoky Mountains. It is a short drive to Bryson City for grocery/restaurants and all the activities the area has to offer. I recommend it for anyone wanting a relaxing mountain vacation/getaway.

We loved staying at The Great Escape cabin! The place was really clean. There was a great amount of supplies and other amenities available that were really useful for our stay. The cabin is in a very peaceful location and the town was a quick drive down the mountain. Our hosts were good communicators, they frequently checked in and provided good instructions for us.

We enjoyed our stay, although it was a quick trip and it was mostly used as a crash pad. The cabin had everything we needed and was very comfortable for our party of five. Only a quick drive away from the entrance to a few great family hikes near the Bryson City entrance to the GSMNP!

We had such a wonderful time at the great escape. Hot tub was great after a day of hiking. Kitchen was well stocked so we could have easy meals at home. Fire pit was cozy on the mountainside. And what a view, we absolutely loved and will miss our morning coffee in the rocking chairs taking in the view of the mountains. Great area, Bryson city is our go to spot and this will be our go to cabin in the future, thanks!!

This cabin is perfect for a secluded getaway while still being conveniently close to dining and grocery options (less than a 10-minute drive). The place is quiet, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. The host provided clear instructions and responded promptly. When we had an internet issue after a storm, the host contacted the internet company immediately, and it was fixed the same day. Overall, a fantastic experience highly recommended!
