My mother, daughter , son and I came up here on a very last minute whim. We were in desperate need of solitude after losing the matriarch of our family. This was a perfect retreat to celebrate the life of Granny. Thanks for letting us use your little paradise to say our goodbyes.

Beautiful view! This cabin had everything we needed for just the three of us, so much so that I over packed on paper products. We truly enjoyed our stay! Location was very close to Bryson City and was right at the entrance to Deep Creek for some easy mountain hiking. Definitely heed the advice of the host and arrive before dark. The road to get to the cabin is very narrow and our biggest concern was meeting another vehicle trying to travel down as we traveled up and vice versa. No where to pull off if that happened in certain sections!

Since we asked for a cabin on short notice in the mist of fall colors, we were surprised that your team hit us spot on with the perfect cabin for our needs. Above the Trees" truly describes this beautiful cabin and location. Couldn't have expected more. Ready to book for next years fall colors! Can't imagine a more ideal stay! It is Private, quiet and absolutely beautiful!

his is my second time renting through GSCR and we always have great cabin options for us to stay with our pets! Hiked the Appalachian Trail, Drove 441, visited Mingus Mill, shopped in Bryson City, drove through Cherokee, went to see the waterfalls all in a weekend!! We loved the views!

What an amazing cabin and view. We had such a fun time disconnecting from the usual business of our lives and reconnecting with each other. We loved the additional amenities, especially the ping pong table. Bummed about having to leave. Thank you for the memories and a wonderful time with our family.

Everything was clean and ready for us. We enjoyed the hot tub and being able to eat out on the deck. We went hiking and enjoyed the hot tub.

The cabin had beautiful views, comfortable furnishings and lovely outdoor spaces. It was immaculate. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and the spectacular views!

The cabin was very spacious with a beautiful interior and pretty view of the mountains and lake. We loved the high ceilings and windows. The cabin was exceptionally clean and the team at GSCR were a pleasure to work with.

We enjoyed hiking and visiting with our family who live in the area. Whenever I contacted anyone, they were always helpful.

It was an amazing week. We enjoyed the fire place and covered porch. Actually saw bears off the porch in the woods. We did a lot of hiking and relaxing.

We loved the gas fireplace and the hot tub. It was convenient to the casino!

Thank you GSCR for renting your beautiful cabin! We chose Morning View to celebrate our anniversary. The architectural features of the cabin are lovely and the moonlight view is as stunning as the morning.

The property is beautiful. It was also great because it is so close to WCU where our daughter is a student. The master suite is amazing. Sitting on the porch and reading a book while looking at the great views is a must

We loved the place - most comfortable and the porch was the best! We enjoyed the view and how the church in town was visible thru the trees - perfect! The cabin had all the comforts of home and made our stay so pleasant, We could not have asked for anything more. It was so much better than staying in a hotel, we felt very much at home!

Had the best vacation! Savored every moment and recharged. Beautiful cabin in beautiful nature. Love this community of Baines Mountain. Great leaf color and a few snowflakes. We loved the cabin. We have stayed in many cabins over the years and Sunrise in the Smokies is our new FAVORITE. We greatly enjoyed the front porch and the Hot Tub. Thanks so much!

Thanks a lot for the cabin, we had some really good times here and what's better than a Jacuzzi after a long hike. We really enjoyed our first stay in the Smoky Mountains. We were glad to discover the fall colors. The pans were really good quality, we were able to make crepes in the morning - we are French, so it was really perfect.

Thanks for the use of the Cabin and it was more than enough space and set up well for our party of 8 people.

This cabin was amazing! It was a perfect weekend getaway for my boyfriend and me. The hot tub was great as was the close location to the small downtown. We would definitely come back!
