Find the Perfect Couple’s Getaway at Bear Hug Cabin. This one bedroom/one bath cabin with walk-in shower is ten minutes North of Bryson City and just outside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. With 2300’ Elevation on pristine hillside and secluded by trees, Bear Hug Cabin has everything you need to stay in for the weekend.
The deck and hot tub are shaded by trees, and the covered porch has lovely wicker furniture to relax on and drink morning coffee. The gas grill, picnic table, and fire pit are all ready and waiting for romantic dinners al fresco.
The bedroom has a queen bed and a private bath with shower stall. A door from the bathroom leads out to the hot tub and the deck. The deck is shaded by trees and has a fire pit, a lounge chair, a picnic table and gas grill. The hot tub is just off the deck and is secluded by trees. See the mountains through the trees, even in summer. 4WD or AWD Required to access this cabin.

The cabin was truly wonderful. The view was breathtaking. We spent most of our time outside. The weather was perfect for a camp fire and relaxing in the Hot Tub. Spent one day hiking the Alum Cave Trail - highly recommend. Already planning our next trip back!

My husband and I came for a surprise birthday weekend. We had an amazing time! The cabin was so comfortable - exactly what we needed. The views are breathtaking! We enjoyed strolling through town, took a train ride and had a wonderful meal at the Everett Hotel. Spent the rest of the time relaxing on the front porch and sitting in the Hot Tub. We will be back!!

Our 1st Anniversary trip. The cabin was wonderful and private. We thoroughly enjoyed sunsets and sunrises! The rain on the roof is good too! The Hot Tub was great to relax in every night! The grill and kitchen were great for cooking your own meals. Hiked to The Road to No Where and Deep Creek. Neat adventures, even found a few antiques. Thanks for everything!

Bear Hug cabin is the best. My husband surprised me. I thought we were going to be camping. Love this place. The view and the hot tub are amazing. Love being surrounded by all the trees and sitting out on the deck. We brought our dual sport motorcycles and road some beautiful mountain back roads. Thank you for all the memories.

We loved the Bear Hug Cabin! The View and peaceful setting is something everyone should experience. My favorite was the porch. Doing my Yoga on the porch. and seeing the view. We had a wonderful time celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary. Can't wait to come back.

When we come to the mountains my husband has to stay at the top of the mountain. Beautiful views from the deck. Smoky Mountain Railroad was awesome. We took a day and went to the Biltmore Mansion. It was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyed out 2 year anniversary escape. WOW! What a perfect was to escape the crazy world. We enjoyed out time mostly in the cabin. Enjoyed the hot tub with the sounds of nature surrounding us. Being a zoo keeper this was place is home. We enjoyed riding the train and beautiful scenic drive to the Road to Nowhere. WE hiked at Deep Creek. Enjoyed great dinners and just lived in calmness.
