This was exactly what we wanted for a long weekend getaway! It was cozy well equipped for staying in and just close enough to town. For our first trip together we couldn't have asked for a better one. The town was a perfect afternoon. We will definitely be back again for another break from it all.

My partner and I have stayed in places in the past that have not been up to our standards. We saw great smoky cabin rentals on the Internet and decided to give them a try. We went to the rental office in person to see if we could get some help finding a cabin that fit our needs. The wonderful lady that helped us found the most amazing little cabin for us to stay in.. (The bearhug). She was very helpful, very friendly, and had a great sense of humor!!! I give her a lot of credit for making our stay so enjoyable. The place was clean, great location, and well taken care of. It had all the amenities needed for a nice day out in the country. We could have easily have gone to another company had it not been for the helpful person that was persistent in helping us find a lovely, romantic (AND affordable) place. To visit the great Smoky Mountains. I have always wanted to visit the area and The little bear hug cabin was the icing on the cake.

We had a great time here! This was our first vacation as an engaged couple, so we wanted everything to be perfect and it was. The cabin has everything you need. The hot tub was in the perfect place and the view was awesome! We took a fishing trip and went to Cherokee. We had a great time just hanging out at the cabin and getting a break from our busy lives. We don't want to leave. Thank you.

The property and cabin are a lot nicer than they appear on the website. I could have just stayed at the cabin and enjoyed it the four days that we were there instead of going anywhere. We actually decided to have all of our dinners there instead of going out because of the nice kitchen and grill.

This place is stunning. We have done a lot of relaxing. The porch is wonderful. We went down to the town and shopped around. Also to Cherokee and Smoky National Park. The view is stunning. One of the most beautiful mountain cabins that we have been to. Thank you for the memories.

What else can we say about Bear Hug other than it is amazing. We were so excited upon arrival at the breath taking view and how cozy this cabin is. The must see places were Mingo Falls in Cherokee and falls in Deep Creek. Our favorite this to do was drive around and enjoy the views. Make sure to stop by Anthony's in Bryson the pasta was great.

Thank you for leaving your cozy and clean cabin to us for 5 days. There is so much I still want to do but sadly we leave today. Loved the cabin, view, and fire pit. Only complaint is the bedroom painting (a little creepy), but all and all a much needed vacation for my boyfriend and I. We will definitely be back. P.S. Look in the guest manual upon arrival so you don't miss any awesome places to explore like we did! Thanks again!
