- Here's What Past Guests Had to say about Bear Hug Cabin

- "The cabin is exactly what we expected from it's posting online and had everything we needed for us while we chilled for two days. We never left the cabin except to hike up to the top of the mountain." - Jim

- "Great experience with GSCR. They made booking and getting into our cabin a breeze! The Bear Hug Cabin was incredible! Amazing view, amazing city, and awesome hot tub!" - Johnnie

- "The staff (Cathie and Kelli) were very friendly and most helpful.  They were more than willing to answer all our questions and to assist with finding the cabin.  The instructions were very detailed and easy to follow. The cabin was everything we had hoped for.  The pictures on the website were true to form.  The only draw back was the road getting to the cabin.  There were a lot of pot holes causing the car to hit bottom.  I would have felt better if we had a four wheel drive vehicle. We wanted the feel of camping to enjoy the outdoors with the sunsets and sunrises and not be stuck in a hotel room. " - Edward

Excellent. Unfortunately it rained up until our last night, but the cabin was so beautiful, and the breath taking view, we hardly noticed the weather. The weather didn't dampen our stay at all. Have stayed in other area cabins before, and was trying your site for the first time. Your cabin exceeded all expectations.

This cabin had the most charm of any we have stayed in. The Smoky Mountains is the greatest place on earth. The hot tub was a very warm place in the rain and sleet. This was my Christmas Gift from Mike and I couldn't have asked for anything more except sunshine. Every day we looked out on the porch and were an awe of the view.

Our trip to Bryson City was so perfect and the Bear Hug Cabin was the cherry on top. We came here for a belated honeymoon. We got married November 21st. Even though the trip was a little rainy it didn't damper the trip at all. Every night was so relaxing. We can't wait to come back.

Bear Hug Cabin is perfect for going to hiking and relaxing. It has a very nice view and was quiet. Hot tub was relaxing after hiking. The cabin was very clean too. Only problem was driveway. If you have a 4WD, you will be fine.

WE came to the Great Smoky Mountains for a peace filled celebration of the Saviors birth. First time with out the kids since they are all grown now. The cabin is an excellent place to retreat. Spent the week hiking Deep Creek Waterfalls, Alum Cove and Goldmine. We were surprised how close the national park is to Bryson City. It surrounded the cabin.

We came to Bryson City to elope. Everyone was so friendly at the courthouse. The cabin was so nice and cozy. We loved the hot tub and porch. Although we didn't see nay bears, we enjoyed how quiet it was at night. The cabin was wonderful. The road to nowhere is a must see.

Our family had a wonderful time here this week. It was the first time we had ever been away at Thanksgiving and we could not have had a better trip. This cabin was perfect for the three of us. We woke up to about 2 inch's of snow.

This was exactly what we wanted for a long weekend getaway! It was cozy well equipped for staying in and just close enough to town. For our first trip together we couldn't have asked for a better one. The town was a perfect afternoon. We will definitely be back again for another break from it all.

My partner and I have stayed in places in the past that have not been up to our standards. We saw great smoky cabin rentals on the Internet and decided to give them a try. We went to the rental office in person to see if we could get some help finding a cabin that fit our needs. The wonderful lady that helped us found the most amazing little cabin for us to stay in.. (The bearhug). She was very helpful, very friendly, and had a great sense of humor!!! I give her a lot of credit for making our stay so enjoyable. The place was clean, great location, and well taken care of. It had all the amenities needed for a nice day out in the country. We could have easily have gone to another company had it not been for the helpful person that was persistent in helping us find a lovely, romantic (AND affordable) place. To visit the great Smoky Mountains. I have always wanted to visit the area and The little bear hug cabin was the icing on the cake.

We had a great time here! This was our first vacation as an engaged couple, so we wanted everything to be perfect and it was. The cabin has everything you need. The hot tub was in the perfect place and the view was awesome! We took a fishing trip and went to Cherokee. We had a great time just hanging out at the cabin and getting a break from our busy lives. We don't want to leave. Thank you.

The property and cabin are a lot nicer than they appear on the website. I could have just stayed at the cabin and enjoyed it the four days that we were there instead of going anywhere. We actually decided to have all of our dinners there instead of going out because of the nice kitchen and grill.

What else can we say about Bear Hug other than it is amazing. We were so excited upon arrival at the breath taking view and how cozy this cabin is. The must see places were Mingo Falls in Cherokee and falls in Deep Creek. Our favorite this to do was drive around and enjoy the views. Make sure to stop by Anthony's in Bryson the pasta was great.
